Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Tasmania Final Flood Warning For The North Esk River Issued at 10:18 AM EST on Monday 07 September 2026 Flood Warning Number: 5 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT CORRA LINN The North Esk River at Corra Linn fell below the minor flood level Sunday evening, following a minor flood peak Sunday morning. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the North Esk River at Corra Linn. The North Esk River at Corra Linn peaked at 2.82 m around 7:00 am Sunday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 2.42 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m). Flood Safety Advice: - Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. - Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. - Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. - Check the ABC and local media for updates.
