Further rainfall is forecast for Thursday, which is likely to cause renewed river level rises. Minor flooding may develop along the North Esk River overnight Thursday into Friday. Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn: Minor flooding may occur along the North Esk River overnight Thursday into Friday. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.10 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The North Esk River at Corra Linn is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m) during Wednesday. With forecast rainfall, the river level may exceed the minor flood level (2.70 m) overnight Thursday into Friday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
