Moderate flooding is occurring along the Ovens River at Wangaratta. Minor flooding is occurring along the Buffalo River downstream of Lake Buffalo, along the King River downstream of Lake William Hovell and along the Ovens River at Bright, Eurobin and Rocky Point. Ovens River to Bright: Minor flooding is occurring at Bright. The Ovens River at Bright is currently at 3.01 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Ovens River at Bright may fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m) Saturday morning. Buckland River: Flooding has eased along the Buckland River around Harris Lane. Buffalo River: Minor flooding is occurring downstream of Lake Buffalo. The Buffalo River at Lake Buffalo (Downstream) is currently at 4.68 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Buffalo River at Lake Buffalo (Downstream) is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.20 m) during Saturday. Ovens River Bright to Rocky Point: Minor flooding is occurring at Eurobin and Rocky Point. The Ovens River at Eurobin is currently at 4.66 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Ovens River at Eurobin may fall below the minor flood level (4.50 m) Saturday morning. The Ovens River at Rocky Point peaked at 4.29 m around 09:30 pm Friday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 4.22 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Ovens River at Rocky Point is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.20 m) during Saturday. King River: River levels are peaking around the major flood level at Docker Rd Bridge. Minor flooding is occurring downstream of Lake William Hovell and Cheshunt. No observations are current for the King River at Lake William Hovell (Downstream), but it is estimated that the river level is above the minor flood level (1.80 m) and falling. The King River at Lake William Hovell (Downstream) may fall below the minor flood level (1.80 m) Saturday morning. The King River at Docker Rd Bridge is peaking around the major flood level (4.10 m).
