Minor flooding is also occurring at Yawong Weir, Charlton Downstream and Quambatook. Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Yawong Weir and Charlton Town. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is currently at 4.88 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town may peak near the moderate flood level (5.90 m) late Thursday. Avoca River downstream of Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Charlton Downstream and Quambatook. The Avoca River at Quambatook peaked at 2.12 m around 02:00 pm Wednesday, with minor flooding. The river is currently at 2.02 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Quambatook may remain near the minor flood level (2.00 m) during Thursday. Renewed rises to near the minor flood level are possible over the weekend or early next week as upstream flows arrive.
