River level rises are occurring along the Avoca River. Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring along the Avoca River at Yawong Weir, Charlton Town and Charlton D/S with moderate flooding likely at Charlton Town and possible at Charlton D/S. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is currently at 4.70 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (5.90 m) from early Thursday morning. The river may peak near 6.70 m Thursday evening, with moderate flooding. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
