Minor flooding may extend downstream to Murchison and Shepparton from early Saturday morning. Acheron River: Minor flooding has eased along the Acheron River at Taggerty. The Acheron River at Taggerty is currently at 2.17 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Acheron River at Taggerty may remain below the minor flood level (2.30 m). Yea River: Minor flooding is occurring at Yea. King Parrot Creek: River levels are easing along the King Parrot Creek. Sunday Creek: Minor flooding has eased along the Sunday Creek at Tallarook. Goulburn River Lake Eildon to Seymour: Minor flooding is occurring along the Goulburn River at Seymour. The Goulburn River at Seymour is currently at 4.78 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Goulburn River at Seymour is expected to remain above the minor flood level (3.80 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. Hughes Creek: Minor flooding is easing along the Hughes Creek at Tarcombe Road. Goulburn River Seymour to Shepparton: Minor flooding is possible along the Goulburn River at Murchison and Shepparton. The Goulburn River at Murchison is currently at 7.44 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Goulburn River at Murchison may exceed the minor flood level (9.00 m) early Saturday morning. The river may peak near 9.10 m Saturday morning, with minor flooding. The Goulburn River at Shepparton is currently at 8.31 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Goulburn River at Shepparton may exceed the minor flood level (9.50 m) Saturday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
