Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Minor Flood Warning For The Kiewa River Issued at 10:37 AM AEST on Monday 22 June 2026 Flood Warning Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT BANDIANA Moderate rainfall across the Kiewa River catchment since Thursday afternoon has caused river level rises along the Kiewa River. Minor flooding is occurring at Bandiana. Light showers are forecast across the catchment for the remainder of Monday and Tuesday, however these are not expected to significantly impact river levels. Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge: Minor flooding is occurring along the Kiewa River at Bandiana. The Kiewa River at Bandiana is currently at 2.81 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Kiewa River at Bandiana is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) through to Tuesday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
