Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the Cann River at Weeragua. River levels along the Genoa River at the Gorge are slowly rising, but are likely to peak below the minor flood level during Saturday. River levels are elevated along the Bemm River. Bemm River: River levels are elevated along the Bemm River. Cann River: No further flooding expected along the Cann River. The Cann River at Weeragua is currently at 2.13 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Cann River at Weeragua is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m). Genoa River: Flooding is no longer expected along the Genoa River. The Genoa River at The Gorge is currently at 1.30 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Genoa River at The Gorge is likely to remain below the minor flood level (1.90 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
