Renewed river level rises are possible along the Avoca River with forecast rainfall during later Tuesday and Wednesday. The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required. Avoca River downstream of Charlton Town: Minor flooding is possible at Quambatook. The Avoca River at Quambatook is currently at 1.78 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Avoca River at Quambatook may peak near the minor flood level (2.00 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
