MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT STRATHBOGIE AND POSSIBLE AT EUROA FROM MONDAY MORNING
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT TELFORDS
Rainfall across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchments since Sunday morning has resulted creek level rises and minor to moderate flooding. Rainfall is forecast to continue until Monday afternoon, which may result in further creek level rises and areas of flooding across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchments.
The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
Castle Creek:
River levels are elevated along the Castle Creek, with minor flooding occurring around Telfords Bridge.
Seven Creeks to Euroa:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Seven Creeks at Strathbogie and is possible at Euroa.
The Seven Creeks at Euroa is currently at 2.81 m and rising, with minor flooding.
The Seven Creeks at Euroa may exceed the moderate flood level (4.00 m) Monday morning.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
