MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT APPIN SOUTH
Minor flooding is being observed at Loddon Weir (downstream) and at Appin South.
Moderate rainfall recorded since Monday evening is likely to result in additional river level rises and possible renewed minor flooding. Showers are forecast for the remainder of Tuesday before easing during Wednesday.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of North West, Central and North East Victoria.
Loddon River upstream of Laanecoorie:
River level rises and areas of flooding may develop along Bet Bet Creek.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding may develop along the Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) is currently at 1.01 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) may reach around the minor flood level (1.50 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
River levels remain around the minor flood level at Loddon Weir (TW). Minor flooding is occurring at Appin South.
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently at 2.87 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Loddon River at Appin South is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) for the next few days.
