Rainfall is forecast to continue until Monday afternoon, which may result in further river level rises and areas of flooding along the Broken River. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. A Flood Watch is current for parts of North East, Gippsland and Central Victoria. Broken River to Benalla: Minor flooding may occur along the Broken River to Benalla. The Broken River at Benalla is currently at 1.83 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Broken River at Benalla may exceed the minor flood level (2.50 m) Monday morning. Further rises are possible. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
