MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT KIALLA WEST
Rainfall across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchments over the weekend has resulted in creek level rises and minor to moderate flooding. The main flood peak has now passed Kialla West, where moderate flooding is continuing.
Seven Creeks to Euroa:
Minor flooding has eased along the Seven Creeks at Euroa.
The Seven Creeks at Euroa is currently at 2.47 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Seven Creeks at Euroa is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m).
Seven Creeks downstream of Euroa:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Seven Creeks at Kialla West.
The Seven Creeks at Kialla West peaked around 5.85 m around 05:00 am Wednesday, with moderate flooding. The creek is currently at 5.82 m and steady, with moderate flooding.
The Seven Creeks at Kialla West is likely to fall below the moderate flood level (5.00 m) Thursday morning. The creek may remain above the minor flood level (4.50 m) during Thursday.
