MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT LAANECOORIE RESERVOIR (TW) AND APPIN SOUTH
Rainfall during Tuesday and Wednesday this week has resulted in a second flood peak that is now downstream of Laanecoorie and approaching Serpentine Weir. Minor flooding is occurring at Laanecoorie Reservoir and Loddon Weir (TW).
Further downstream, the first flood peak from rainfall last week has passed through Appin South, where minor flooding is continuing and river levels are steady. Renewed river levels rises are likely over the weekend and into next week as the second flood peak arrives. River level rises are occurring at Kerang.
Loddon River upstream of Laanecoorie:
Flooding is no longer occurring at Bet Bet.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring at Laanecoorie Reservoir (TW).
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) is currently at 2.73 m and falling, with minor flooding.
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) may remain above the minor flood level (1.50 m) for the remainder of Friday and into Saturday.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
Minor flooding is occurring at Loddon Weir (TW) and Appin South.
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently at 2.94 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Loddon River at Appin South is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) for the next few days. Renewed river level rises are likely from the weekend with the arrival of the second flood peak.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
