MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT APPIN SOUTH
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT LAANECOORIE RESERVOIR (TW) OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY
The flood peak from last weeks rainfall is around Appin South where minor flooding is occurring and further downstream river level rises are occurring at Kerang.
Renewed river level rises are occurring in the Loddon catchment upstream of Appin South and with forecast rainfall minor flooding may develop from overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.
Loddon River upstream of Laanecoorie:
Areas of flooding may develop along the Bet Bet Creek and Loddon River upstream of Laanecoorie overnight Wednesday with forecast rainfall.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding may develop along the Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) is currently at 0.92 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservior (TW) may reach around the minor flood level (1.50 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday, with forecast rainfall.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
Minor flooding is occurring at Appin South.
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently peaking around 3.05 m, with minor flooding.
The Loddon River at Appin South is likely to remain above the minor flood level (2.80 m) for the next few days.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
