MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BANDIANA THURSDAY MORNING
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT KIEWA
Since Monday, moderate rainfall has been recorded across the Kiewa River catchment, resulting in river level rises. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of the week. This rainfall may cause further river level rises along the Kiewa River for the next few days, with moderate flooding possible at Bandiana Thursday morning and minor flooding continuing at Kiewa over the next few days.
A Flood Watch is current for Parts of North East and Central Victoria.
Kiewa River to Mongans Bridge:
Renewed river level rises and minor flooding is possible at Mongans Bridge overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge:
Minor flooding is occurring at Bandiana and Kiewa. Moderate flooding is possible at Bandiana.
The Kiewa River Channel at Kiewa is currently at 3.34 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Kiewa River Channel at Kiewa is expected to remain around the minor flood level (3.30 m) over the next few days. Further river level rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
The Kiewa River at Bandiana is currently at 2.96 m and steady, with minor flooding.
The Kiewa River at Bandiana may exceed the moderate flood level (3.10 m) Thursday morning. Further river level rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
