Flooding may develop from Friday afternoon. A Severe Weather Warning is current for heavy rainfall for East Gippsland. Bemm River: Flooding is possible along the Bemm River from Friday afternoon. Cann River: Minor flooding is possible along the Cann River from Friday afternoon. The Cann River at Chandlers Creek is currently at 0.38 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Cann River at Chandlers Creek may exceed the minor flood level (2.00 m) Friday afternoon with forecast rain. Further rises are possible. The Cann River at Weeragua is currently at 1.32 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Cann River at Weeragua may exceed the minor flood level (3.00 m) Friday afternoon with forecast rain. Further rises are possible. Genoa River: Minor flooding is possible along the Genoa River from Friday afternoon. The Genoa River at The Gorge is currently at 0.65 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
