MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING ALONG TALLANGATTA CREEK AT MCCALLUMS
Rainfall since Friday evening has resulted in creek level rises and minor flooding along the Tallangatta Creek at McCallums. Rainfall is forecast to continue for the remainder of Saturday into Sunday morning, with further river and creek level rises possible.
A Flood Watch is current for parts of North and North East Victoria, including the wider Mitta Mitta catchment.
Tallangatta Creek:
Minor flooding is occurring along Tallangatta Creek at McCallums.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
