Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For The Bogan River Issued at 10:34 AM AEST on Tuesday 07 July 2026 Flood Warning Number: 3 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT DANDALOO River levels along the Bogan River at Dandaloo are approaching a peak below the minor flood level. This follows river level rises observed upstream at Peak Hill during Friday. Bogan River to Nyngan: Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Bogan River at Dandaloo. The Bogan River at Dandaloo is currently at 2.59 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Bogan River at Dandaloo is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.10 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
