The river level at Daintree Village may remain above the moderate flood level overnight Sunday into Monday. Elevated river levels are being observed at China Camp along the Bloomfield River. Showers and thunderstorms are possible for the remainder of Sunday, which may cause further river level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required. Daintree River: Minor flooding is occurring along the Daintree River at Daintree Village. Elevated river levels are being observed along the Bloomfield River. The Daintree River at Daintree Village is currently at 7.25 m and rising, with moderate flooding. The Daintree River at Daintree Village may remain above the moderate flood level (6.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. Mossman River: Elevated river levels are being observed along the Mossman River. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
