Further rainfall is expected for the remainder of Wednesday with localised heavy falls possible, particularly over the upper catchment. With this forecast rainfall, minor flooding is possible from Wednesday evening along the St Pauls River at Lewis Hill. A Severe Weather Warning for Heavy Rainfall is current for Furneaux Islands, North East and parts of East Coast. St Pauls River: Minor flooding may occur along the St Pauls River from Wednesday evening. The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill is currently at 0.30 m and steady, below the minor flood level (1.70 m). The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill may exceed the minor flood level (1.70 m) Wednesday evening. Nile River: Elevated levels are possible along the Nile River at Deddington. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
