The forecast rainfall and possible snowmelt is expected to cause river level rises and flooding along the Huon River. Minor flooding is possible at Tahune Bridge from overnight Friday into Saturday, with further rises to the moderate flood level possible from Saturday morning. Minor flooding is also possible at Judbury from Saturday morning. Huon River - Tahune to Judbury: Moderate flooding is possible along the Huon River at Tahune Bridge and minor flooding at Judbury. The Huon River at Tahune Bridge is currently at 1.53 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Huon River at Tahune Bridge may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Friday into Saturday. Further rises to the moderate flood level (5.0 m) are possible from Saturday morning, with forecast rainfall and possible contribution from snowmelt. The Huon River at Judbury is currently at 1.78 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Huon River at Judbury may reach around the minor flood level (4.00 m) Saturday morning, with forecast rainfall.
