Minor flooding is possible from late Tuesday evening at Ballina with the high tide and from Wednesday morning at Coraki. Rainfall has eased, and no further heavy rainfall is expected. Richmond River: Minor flooding is possible at Coraki and Ballina. The Richmond River at Coraki is currently at 1.98 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Richmond River at Coraki may peak near the minor flood level (3.40 m) from Wednesday morning. The Richmond River at Ballina (Burns Point) is currently at 1.23 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Richmond River at Ballina (Burns Point) may reach around the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Tuesday evening with the high tide. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
