Final Flood Warning For The Tully River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT EURAMO
Heavy rainfall recorded overnight Sunday resulted in river level rises across the Tully River catchment, where the Tully River at Euramo peaked below the minor flood level Monday evening.
Further showers and storms are forecast over the next few days, which may lead to renewed river level rises across the catchment.
A Flood Watch is current for adjoining catchments.
Tully River:
Flooding no longer expected along the Tully River at Euramo.
The Tully River at Euramo is currently at 4.50 m and falling, below the minor flood level.
The Tully River at Euramo is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
