Further moderate rainfall in the forecast over the catchment during overnight Wednesday. Small river level rise is occurring along the upper parts of Tumut River. River levels will respond quickly with further rainfall, and minor flooding is possible at Tumut overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Tumut River: Minor flooding is possible along the Tumut River. The Tumut River at Tumut is currently at 0.47 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Tumut River at Tumut may reach around the minor flood level (2.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday, with forecast rainfall. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
