NO FURTHER FLOODING IS EXPECTED ALONG THE LOWER ADELAIDE RIVER
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast across the Adelaide River catchment over the next few days but are not expected to contribute significantly to riverine flows. Small renewed rises are still possible.
Adelaide River and Margaret River:
River levels are elevated along the Margaret River and the Adelaide River below Adelaide River Town. No further flooding is expected but small renewed rises are possible with storms.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
