The main flood peak has passed through Autumnvale and is approaching Thargomindah along the lower Bulloo River. However, the river level is expected to peak below the minor flood level at Thargomindah. Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie: No further flooding is expected along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie. No observations are currently available for the Bulloo River at Thargomindah. Based on upstream gauges, it is expected that the river level is below the minor flood level (4.00 m) and rising. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is expected to peak below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Thursday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
