River levels at Wanaaring are also elevated, where minor flooding is possible during Tuesday. A minor flood warning is current for the Paroo River in Queensland. Paroo River (NSW): Minor flooding is occurring at Willara Crossing, and may develop at Wanaaring from Tuesday. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing is currently at 1.26 m and steady, above the minor flood level (0.70 m). Renewed river level rises are expected at Willara Crossing. The Paroo River at Willara Crossing may peak near 1.60 m around Friday, with minor flooding. The Paroo River at Wanaaring was at 2.28 m around 10:00 am Monday, below the minor flood level. The Paroo River at Wanaaring may reach around the minor flood level (2.40 m) during Tuesday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
