The flood peak is approaching Autumnvale where the river level is rising. Minor flooding is possible at Thargomindah from Friday and moderate flooding is possible from Sunday. A peak height forecast will be provided for Thargomindah once upstream peaks have been observed. Bulloo River to Quilpie: Flooding is no longer occurring along the Bulloo River to Quilpie. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is currently at 2.47 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Bulloo River at Quilpie is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m). Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie: Moderate flooding is possible along the Bulloo River downstream of Quilpie. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah is currently at 3.74 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Bulloo River at Thargomindah may exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) from Friday, and may exceed the moderate flood level (4.50 m) from Sunday. A moderate flood peak is possible from Monday.
