Further upstream, a second flood peak has passed Bet Bet with minor flooding and is moving towards Laanecoorie Reservoir where moderate flooding may develop from Wednesday afternoon. Moderate rainfall recorded since Monday evening is likely to result in additional river level rises and possible renewed minor flooding. No significant further rainfall is forecast over the catchment. A Flood Watch is current for parts of North West, Central and North East Victoria. Loddon River upstream of Laanecoorie: Minor flooding is occurring along Bet Bet Creek at Bet Bet. Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir: Moderate flooding is possible along the Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir. The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir (TW) is currently at 2.24 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Loddon River at Laanecoorie Reservoir (TW) may reach around the moderate flood level (3.00 m) from Wednesday afternoon. Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang: Minor flooding is occurring along the Loddon River at Loddon Weir (TW). Moderate flooding is possible along the Loddon River at Appin South. The Loddon River at Appin South is currently at 3.02 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Loddon River at Appin South may reach around the moderate flood level (3.10 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive.
