Avoca River to Charlton Town: Minor flooding is occurring at Yawong Weir. Moderate flooding is occurring at Charlton D/S and is likely at Charlton Town. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is currently at 5.79 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Avoca River at Charlton Town is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (5.90 m) from Thursday afternoon. The river may peak near 6.70 m overnight Thursday into Friday, with moderate flooding. The river may remain above the moderate flood level (5.90 m) until Friday afternoon. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
