Minor flooding is occurring along the Moonie River at Nindigully. Moonie River to Flinton: River levels remain elevated along the Moonie River to Flinton. The Moonie River at Flinton Town is currently at 1.93 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Moonie River at Flinton Town is likely to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m) during Sunday. However, renewed rises are possible with forecast rain. Moonie River downstream of Flinton: Minor flooding is occurring along the Moonie River downstream of Flinton. The Moonie River at Nindigully is currently at 2.25 m and steady, with minor flooding. The Moonie River at Nindigully may remain above the minor flood level (2.20 m) during Sunday. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
