Cloud is bubbling over Cape York Peninsula in a trough, triggering heavy showers and storms. Cloud scattering over eastern Qld in moist southeasterly winds is causing isolated showers, mainly along the coast. Bright cloud streaming into the southwest is not yet rain-bearing.
