Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment for the remainder of the weekend, which may lead to further river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. A Flood Watch is current for most of Queensland. Don River: Moderate flooding is possible along the Don River. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station is currently at 3.55 m and rising, with minor flooding. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station may exceed the moderate flood level (4.00 m) from Saturday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain. Proserpine River: River level rises are possible in the Proserpine River catchment. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs.
