    Final Flood Warning For The Upper Hunter River

    MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT DENMAN
     The river level along the Upper Hunter River at Denman peaked slightly above the minor flood level (6.50 m) around midday Sunday and fell below the minor flood level Sunday afternoon. The river level at Denman is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
     Further rain is forecast across parts of the Hunter River catchments from the middle of the week, which may cause renewed river level rises and flooding along the Hunter River and its tributaries. The situation is being closely monitored and the flood warning will be updated as required.
    
    Upper Hunter:
    Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the Upper Hunter at Denman.
    The Hunter River at Denman peaked near 6.80 metres around 12:45 pm Sunday with minor flooding and is currently at 6.31 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (6.50 m).
    The Hunter River at Denman is expected to remain below the minor flood level.
