    Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Upper Brisbane River

    MINOR FLOODING LIKELY ALONG STANLEY RIVER AT WOODFORD FRIDAY MORNING
     MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG UPPER BRISBANE RIVER AT GREGOR CREEK EARLY FRIDAY MORNING
     Moderate to locally heavy rainfall has been observed within the Stanley and Upper Brisbane River catchments overnight Thursday into Friday. This has caused creek and river level rises throughout the catchments, and minor flooding is likely at Woodford Friday morning, and possible at Gregor Creek Friday morning.
     Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday morning, which may cause further river and creek level rises. The situation is being monitored and this warning will be updated as required.
    
    Stanley River to Somerset Dam:
    Minor flooding is likely along the Stanley River to Somerset Dam.
    The Stanley River at Woodford is currently at 3.42 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
    The Stanley River at Woodford is likely to reach the minor flood level (5.00 m) around 10:00 am Friday. The river level may reach around 5.40 metres Friday afternoon, with minor flooding.
    
    Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam:
    Minor flooding may occur along the Brisbane River to Wivenhoe Dam. Minor flooding is occurring at Devon Hills.
    The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek is currently at 3.02 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
    The Brisbane River at Gregor Creek may reach around the minor flood level (3.50 m) from about 9:00 am Friday.
