    Major Flood Warning For The Bremer River And Warrill Creek

    WITH FORECAST RAINFALL MODERATE TO MAJOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE ALONG THE BREMER RIVER AND WARRILL CREEK FROM LATE SUNDAY
     Development of bands of heavy to intense rainfall is possible during Sunday morning and afternoon. This has the potential to cause dangerous and rapid river level rises along the Bremer River and Warrill Creek.
     The situation is being monitored closely and this flood warning will be updated as required.
     A Flood Watch is current for South East Queensland, Condamine and Border Rivers. A Severe Weather Warning is current for the Southeast Coast and parts of Wide Bay and Burnett and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts. A Coastal Hazard Warning is current for parts of Southeast Coast Forecast District.
    
    Warrill Creek:
    With forecast rainfall, moderate to major flooding and potentially rapid rises may occur along the Warrill Creek.
    The creek level along Warrill Creek at Kalbar is estimated to be below the minor flood level (6.00 m) and relatively steady.
    With forecast rainfall, the Warrill Creek at Kalbar may reach the minor flood level from Sunday afternoon. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible overnight Sunday into Monday.
    
    The Warrill Creek at Harrisville is currently at 0.24 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (3.00 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Warrill Creek at Harrisville may reach the minor flood level from Sunday afternoon. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible from late Sunday.
    
    The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 0.46 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.00 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Warrill Creek at Amberley may reach the minor flood level from Sunday evening. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible from overnight Sunday into Monday.
    
    Bremer River:
    With forecast rainfall, moderate to major flooding and potentially rapid rises may occur along the Bremer River.
    The Bremer River at Rosewood is currently at 0.30 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.00 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Bremer River at Rosewood may reach the minor flood level from Sunday afternoon. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible from late Sunday.
    
    The Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge is currently at -0.18 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (3.50 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Bremer River at Five Mile Bridge may reach the minor flood level (3.50 m) from Sunday afternoon. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible from late Sunday.
    
    The Bremer River at Walloon is currently at 1.50 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (5.00 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Bremer River at Rosewood may reach the minor flood level (5.00 m) from Sunday evening. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible from overnight Sunday into Monday.
    
    The Bremer River at Ipswich is currently at 1.97 metres and falling with the tide, below the minor flood level (7.00 metres).
    With forecast rainfall, the Bremer River at Ipswich may reach the minor flood level (7.00 m) overnight Sunday into Monday. After the onset of flooding, rapid rises and moderate to major flooding are possible during Monday.
