River levels are currently elevated along the Bloomfield River at China Camp. Further rainfall is forecast later this week, which may cause renewed river level rises. The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required. Daintree River: Minor flooding is occurring along the Daintree River at Daintree Village. River levels are currently elevated along the Bloomfield River. The Daintree River at Daintree Village peaked at 7.25 m around 01:15 pm Sunday 15 March, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 4.55 m and falling, with minor flooding. The Daintree River at Daintree Village may fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Monday afternoon. Mossman River: River levels are currently elevated along the Mossman River. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
