No further significant rainfall is forecast for the catchment. Broken River to Benalla: Minor flooding is no longer occurring along the Broken River to Benalla. The Broken River at Benalla is currently at 2.40 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Broken River at Benalla is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Broken River downstream of Casey Weir: Moderate flooding is possible along the Broken River downstream of Casey Weir. The Broken River at Orrvale is currently at 6.55 m and rising, below the minor flood level. The Broken River at Orrvale is likely to exceed the minor flood level (6.80 m) overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. The river may reach around the moderate flood level (7.20 m) Wednesday morning. Further rises are possible as upstream flows arrive. Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
