    Flood Warning For The De Grey River Catchment

     MAJOR FLOODING EXPECTED TO BE EASING AT MARBLE BAR
     MODERATE FLOODING EXPECTED TO BE EASING AT MARBLE BAR ROAD
     MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT NULLAGINE AND RIPON HILLS ROAD
     Isolated heavy rainfall overnight has caused rapid river level rises along the Nullagine and Coongan Rivers. Rainfall totals of up to 107 mm were recorded in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Tuesday in the De Grey River Catchment.
     Showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the De Grey catchment for the next few days. This may cause renewed river level rises.
    
    Oakover River:
    No river level observations are available at Ripon Hills Road since Tuesday morning. The river Level at Ripon Hills Road is expected to be around the minor flood level (1.50 m).
    Nullagine River:
    River levels are elevated and minor flooding is occurring at Nullagine. The river levels at Tumbinna Pool were above the minor flood level (1.50 m) Monday morning. No river level observations are available since Monday morning.
    Coongan River:
    No river levels observations are available at Marble Bar since Monday night, when the river levels peaked above major flood level (3.50 m). The river levels are expected to be easing at Marble Bar during Tuesday.
     No river levels observations are available at Marble Bar Road Crossing since Tuesday morning, when the river levels peaked above moderate flood level (2.80 m). The river levels are expected to be easing at Marble Bar Road Crossing during Tuesday.
    De Grey River:
    Flooding is not expected along the De Grey River.
    The De Grey River at Coolenar Pool is currently at 0.56 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
    The De Grey River at Coolenar Pool is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.50 m) during Tuesday.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and velocity.}
