    Final Flood Warning For The Wilsons River 
    Issued at 10:21 AM EDT on Sunday 30 March 2025
    Flood Warning Number: 8
    
    FLOODING IS NO LONGER EXPECTED AT LISMORE
     Rainfall has eased in the Wilsons River catchment, and river levels are now below flood levels and continuing to fall.
     Further rainfall is forecast in the Wilsons River catchment from the middle of the week which may cause renewed river rises and flooding.
     The situation will be monitored, and flood watches and flood warnings will be issued as required.
    
    Wilsons River:
    Flooding is no longer expected at Lismore.
    
    The Wilsons River at Lismore (AHD) peaked at 3.93 metres (below the minor flood level) around 02:00 pm Saturday 29 March and is currently at 3.48 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
    The Wilsons River at Lismore (AHD) will remain below the minor flood level (4.20 m).
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
     * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
     * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
     * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
     * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
