Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Manning River And Minor Flood Warning For The Gloucester River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GLOUCESTER AND WINGHAM FROM SATURDAY MORNING
 MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT HARRINGTON ON THE HIGH TIDE MIDDAY SATURDAY
 MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CROKI WHARF ON THE HIGH TIDE SATURDAY AFTERNOON
 Moderate to heavy rainfall since Friday afternoon caused river level rises along the Manning and Gloucester Rivers. Further moderate rainfall is forecast through the catchment during Saturday. This is likely to result in further river level rises, where minor flooding is possible at Gloucester and Wingham from Saturday morning.
 Moderate flooding is possible at Harrington on the high tide around midday Saturday. Minor flooding is possible at Croki Wharf on the high tide Saturday afternoon.
 The situation is being closely monitored and warnings will be updated as required.
 A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, Hunter and Central Coast.

Gloucester River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Gloucester River.
The Gloucester River at Gloucester is currently at 3.03 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.30 m).
The Gloucester River at Gloucester may exceed the minor flood level (4.30 m) Saturday morning.

Manning River:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Manning River.
The Manning River at Wingham is currently at 1.84 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (4.90 m).
The Manning River at Wingham may reach the minor flood level (4.90 m) Saturday afternoon.

The Manning River at Croki Wharf is currently at 0.89 metres and rising with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.50 m).
The Manning River at Croki Wharf may reach the minor flood level (1.50 m) Saturday afternoon on the high tide.

The Manning River at Harrington is currently at 1.26 metres and falling with the tide, below the minor flood level (1.90 m).
The Manning River at Harrington may exceed the minor flood level (1.90 m) Saturday morning. The river level may continue to rise and reach the moderate flood level (2.20 m) around midday Saturday on the high tide.

In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
 * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
 * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
 * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
 * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
