FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT TUMBULGUM
The Tweed River at Tumbulgum peaked slightly below the minor flood level Saturday morning.
Tweed River:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Tweed River at Tumbulgum.
The Tweed River at Tumbulgum peaked at 1.28 metres around 07:49 am Saturday 26 April and is currently at 1.12 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (1.40 m).
The Tweed River at Tumbulgum is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.40 m).

*Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
*Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
*Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
*Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
