Final Flood Warning For The Hastings River

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT SETTLEMENT POINT WITH HIGH TIDES
High tides are no longer expected to cause minor flooding along the Hastings River at Settlement Point, with the river level having peaked below the minor flood level on Monday and Tuesday evening.
Hastings River:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Hastings River.
The Hastings River at Settlement Point peaked at 0.85 metres, below the minor flood level (1.20 metres) around 08:45 pm Tuesday.
The Hastings River at Settlement Point is expected to remain below the minor flood level on the high tides for the next few days.

In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
*Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
*Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
*Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
*Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
