    MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TALWOOD DURING WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY
     River level rises are occurring across the Weir River catchment due to heavy rainfall during last week. The main flood peak is around the Surrey area on Tuesday morning, where minor flooding is occurring. Minor flooding is possible at Talwood during Wednesday into Thursday as upstream floodwaters arrive.
     Further rainfall is forecast during the week which may cause further rises.
    
    Weir River to Giddi Giddi South:
    Minor flooding has eased along the Weir River upstream of Giddi Giddi South.
    Weir River downstream of Giddi Giddi South:
    Minor flooding may occur along the Weir River downstream of Giddi Giddi South.
    There are no current observations for Talwood manual gauge. However, based on levels at the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is expected to be below the minor flood level (3.00 metres) and rising.
    The Weir River at Talwood may reach the minor flood level (3.00 m) during Wednesday into Thursday as upstream floodwaters arrive. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
