MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TALWOOD OVER THE WEEKEND
 Rainfall last week has caused river level rises across the upper Weir River catchment. Moderate flooding is possible along the Weir River at Talwood over the weekend as flows arrive from upstream.
 At this stage, river level rises are not expected further downstream along the Barwon River at Mungindi until next week at the earliest.

Weir River downstream of Giddi Giddi South:
Moderate flooding may occur along the Weir River at Talwood.
No observations are available at Talwood. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
The Weir River at Talwood may reach the moderate flood level (3.50 metres) over the weekend.
