Initial Minor Flood Warning For The Logan River

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT BEAUDESERT LATE SATURDAY EVENING
 Rainfall totals of up to approximately 70 mm have been recorded across the upper Logan River catchment in the 12 hours to 3:00 pm Saturday. This rainfall has caused river and creek level rises in the upper catchment, with minor flooding likely at Beaudesert late Saturday evening.
 Further showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday, which may cause further river level rises.
 The situation will continue to be closely monitored and this flood warning will be updated as required.

Logan River to Yarrahappini:
Minor flooding is likely along the Logan River to Yarrahappini at Beaudesert and is rising at Rathdowney
The Logan River at Beaudesert is currently at 2.42 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (5.50 m).
The Logan River at Beaudesert is likely to exceed the minor flood level (5.50 m) late Saturday evening. Higher levels are possible with further rainfall.
